Most Americans take access to reliable, fast wireless internet (Wi-Fi) for granted. Yet, in underserved communities, reliable internet access can be as elusive as it is on the Moon. NASA is working to solve both challenges.


NASA published a request for proposal (RFP) Sept. 29 for companies to compete for the agency's future purchase of spacesuits and support services for spacewalks on the International Space Station, during Artemis lunar surface missions, and as needed on Gateway in lunar orbit.


When the Landsat 9 satellite launched to space earlier this week on Sept. 27, it wasn't the only spacecraft on the flight.
