The SPOT 7 Earth-observation satellite, designed and developed by Airbus Defence and Space, was launched on 30 June at 6:22 am (Paris time) by a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in India.

Airbus Defence and Space has released video of tests conducted between May 1-4 this year of a quarter-scale SpacePlane demonstrator. According to Airbus Defence and Space the tests validated the dynamic flight conditions encountered in the end-of-flight phase following a return from space.
